Big Game, Big Business

Big Game, Big Business

Big Game, Big Business

“Lord, you have examined me and you know me. You know everything I do; from far away you understand all my thoughts. You see me, whether I am working or resting; you know all my actions.” – Psalm 139:1-3 (GNT)

The biggest game of the year is coming up, over 100 million people will be watching the Super Bowl on Sunday. In a recent survey of what people most look forward to on Super Bowl Sunday 33% of people answered that it’s the advertisements. Whether it’s the Super Bowl, the World Cup or the Final Four the sport of watching sports is big business.

You may think that what sports you enjoy, or what teams you are a fan of, aren’t important to me. You may think that I’m only a “big picture” God. And while it’s true that I can see and know the big picture, I care about the small details. I’m interested in getting to know you fully.

I love you and I desire to have a relationship with you.

Whether you’re working, resting, enjoying a hobby, or watching the game I am with you. And I want you to invite me into every part of your life. Don’t just put me in a corner and wait until you go to church or have a crisis to think about our relationship. You can talk to me at anytime, anywhere you are. You can talk to me in the quiet of you heart or by speaking aloud, or writing it down, or signing it out. I hear you the same no matter the method.

So share your joys and your sorrows, your dreams and disappointments. I’m listening and I am interested in knowing all about you.
