Finding Relief From Life’s Pressures

I Can Carry Your Burdens – God

Finding Relief From Life’s Pressures

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. – Matthew 11:28 (NLT)

Pressure—it can come from anywhere; school, friends, family, the news, social media. In it’s wake it leaves you feeling burdened. An extra test, a surprise bill, a family member in need, an attack in your area… there are so many burdens to balance that sometimes you feel crushed, in desperate need of relief.

I came to free you—to be the one who carries those burdens for you. When you trust in me you will find rest from the distresses and worries of the world. I will shelter you from the storms, just like My Word says:

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. (Psalm 91:1-2 NLT)

Do you know me like this? Do you trust in me as your place of refuge and safety?

If you have a relationship with me, believing in my son Jesus and declaring your faith in me, then you can claim this promise for your own. You can find relief from the pressures of this world.

When you need me, I will be here for you. When you call, I will answer. When you are worried or afraid, I’ll comfort you. When you are tired, I will give you rest. Put your trust in me and see the difference it makes.
