God Loves You

I am Love – God

God Loves You

God is love. – 1 John 4:8 (NLT)

Who am I? Go ahead take a moment to think about that.

Your view of who I am matters. It matters because I want you to know me, to be in a relationship with me, to walk with me and talk with me.

However, if you have the wrong view of me, it will get in the way of our relationship. If you think I’m unjust, or vengeful you won’t come to me when you’ve done wrong, you won’t seek my forgiveness. If you think I’m angry and unfair then you won’t talk to me, sharing you heart and asking for my help. If you think I am far off and uncaring you will ignore me.

If, however, you are willing to learn who I am—who I really am, you will want nothing more than to have a relationship with me. That’s because at my core, when you boil it all down, I am love.

I love you. Plain and simple, without qualification or condition. I love you because I am love and I created you. I sent My Son, Jesus, into the world to save you, to make it possible for us to have a relationship.

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.” (John 3:16-17 NLT)

Do you believe that? Will you put aside all the wrong views you may have of me, to have a fresh start? Come to me. Begin a relationship with me today.
