I Miss You So Much
The Lord is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth. – Psalm 145:18 (NLT)
Why do I miss you so much? You see, I created you and loved you even before you were born. The day you came into the world, I was there. Every moment of your life, I’ve been there, but what I really long for is a relationship with you.
I want to be more than just an idea or a far off deity—I want to be a part of your life.
I want you to talk with me, to include me in your life, to walk with me and to learn from me. I want you to experience a richness of life that is only possible with me.
Have you ever had an old friend, someone that you might have lost contact with for a while, but then reunited with? Sometimes it will feel like you’ve hardly missed a day. They know you so well, they understand you so well that communication just picks back up without missing a beat. Think of me as that old friend.
I have seen all of the pain and heartaches, joy and celebration, in your life. I’m with you every moment of your day –ready to listen. Ready to begin a relationship with you, or to pick up where we left off.
When you are ready to talk, I am here.
