Sure, my answers to your prayers may not be what you expected. I often like to surprise you with something far better than you could ever expect or imagine. Or sometimes I'm working behind the scenes... getting things in order... protecting you... preparing you.
But trust me...
I love you.
I want what is best for you.
I know what is best for you.
I will answer when you call on me.
Come to me in faith.
Do not fear.
Do not hesitate.
Ask boldly!
Trust wholeheartedly.
And then you can watch me do my work.
