YOU CANNOT DO LIFE ON YOUR OWN

“My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NLT)

Being humble is the first step to receiving help. You must admit that you cannot do life on your own.

Life is full of unforeseen circumstances that can bog you down. Sometimes Satan influences these stressors, devising plans specific to each of your weaknesses. He introduces trouble at just the right moment, when he knows he can knock you off the path I intend for you.

My Word, the Bible calls him the thief who comes only to steal and to kill and to destroy. And while he may not be doing these things in the literal sense, he will cause hurt to happen in whatever way he can. He devises heartbreak to steal your confidence, he stirs up drama to kill friendships, he creates depression to destroy your happiness. He kills your peace and destroys your joy.

When you find yourself in the midst of trials and burdening situations, I am waiting to help. I am waiting for you to turn to me and seek my direction. I want to help you in whatever way you need most. Maybe you need someone to listen or you just need someone to help you start over.

I can assist with anything you need.

I have been there for you all along and offering my help through the best and roughest moments of your life. I am your ever-present help in time of need and I am waiting for you to call on me. Will you ask?

NEXT STEPS:

  • Read Psalms 46.

  • Think about the impact of this verse and the promise God makes to you. What have you been trying to handle on your own? What obstacles have come across your path that you’ve been trying to climb over alone? Consider the assurance God gives in His offer to be your refuge and strength, your ever-present help in times of trouble.
