I know your secrets. Your pain. The things you struggle with. The lies you believe.
I know your hurts. Your bruises. I know your weaknesses. Your vices.
Nobody is perfect. Nobody... except me.
So why do you keep playing the game? Why do you keep wearing the mask?
I don't look for perfection. I want authenticity. I want a real relationship with you. Not one covered in fake smiles or thoughtless prayers.
My way is perfect. My word is flawless. But I don't ask the same of you. That is why I sent my son. That is why He gave His life.
Jesus’ perfection covers you completely. His sacrifice washed you clean.
That doesn't give you the right to go and live a life of sin. No! Sin is ugly and painful and grieves my heart. It should grieve yours as well.
But when you do mess up... when you lose your way… don't hide. Don't be ashamed.
Confess it.
Bring it to light.
And let me wash you clean.
Let me carry your burdens. Let me help you on your way.
Let me deal with sin in my perfect love.
