YOU CAN TRUST ME ABOVE ALL ELSE.
"Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save." Psalm 146:3
Who protects you? Who provides for you? Who guides you? Who loves you?
It is I.
Who works on your behalf? Who fights to hold the demons at bay? Who brings justice and peace to a world in turmoil?
I do.
Close your eyes and see the truth. Take heart. There is no army strong enough to overpower me. No employer rich enough to outgive me. No leader kind enough to bring greater peace than I can offer.
No one fights harder for you than I do.
So then why do you not live like you believe it? Why do you live for the acceptance, appreciation, and approval of so many others? They are your brothers and sisters.
I am your Father. Your King.
No one is more worthy of your trust and faith than me. And I am ready and waiting to pour out my love on you. In fact, I already am. You just don't see it.
Take time to slow down today. Consider the places, the people, and the things in which you have put your trust. Those you have put above me.
Remind yourself of this truth...
No one can love you more... no one is more worthy of your faith... than me.
"It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans" (Psalm 118:8).
